9 books, countless hours, and 8 (barely) pages later…

02Mar10

… and I’m pretty sure I officially hate both ancient Greece and Percy Jackson and the Olympians.

At the time, choosing to write about how PJO is a modern day equivalent of ancient Greek drama seemed like a stellar idea. I like the topics, it’s prove-able, it’s original, what’s not to love?

Now, just about everything. I even want to punch Logan Lerman in the face.

I had such high expectations for this paper. I really did. Despite Michael telling us that most of us aren’t ready to tackle the larger paper yet, I was going to prove him wrong. I was going to present him with 15 pages of pure, unadulterated wisdom, and he was going to bow down to my scholarly ways.

Now, the motivation and excitement is completely drained. I’m going to be proud if I manage to squeeze in another page or two from this mess of notes and bookmarks.

I’ve also quickly come to discover that I have little to no recollection of MLA citation.

Thank God for rewrites.

Wow, fu*cking ignorant much? Logan is actually a good young actor if you actually paid attention instead of being a b*tchy and bast*rd a**hole with no life. This has arrogance and ignorance written all over your ugly face. “Scholary ways” my butt, a$$hole, as if you actually have any. Why blame the actors who didn’t do anything to screenwrite and only acted? Someone should punch you write in the face instead and/or shoot you right now just to get rid of your annoying complaints, including your fat nose. And it’s Greek MYTHOLOGY, a$$wipe. Get your facts right. And don’t waste your time writing your paper. It’s just going to be a piece of $hitty crap that may punch you in your ugly face. While Logan and other young actors are actually making money and have a career already, you’re just sitting at home with no life ahead of you. If you’re going to be an “actress”, good luck with that *sarcastic*. Logan’s a better actor than you. You’re just going to be the lamest actor of all time if you think about becoming one.

j’s right. Just get rid of this piece of $hit you call “paper”, including your fake a$$ scholary ways. Logan’s a very good actor if you ever bothered to see any of his other movies and I respect him. He’s pretty much a better actor than you. I’m pretty sure people will laugh right up in your face, ba$tard.

And I offically hate your whiny a$s blogs. Get off the internet and your fat nose out of the way now.

  4. So… I just logged into my WordPress account for the first time in months, and couldn’t help but notice your unnecessarily long hate comment that you felt you just had to leave. I haven’t the slightest idea who you are, but you seem to have some pretty strong opinions about me, so I figured I would give you the response you deserve.

Nowhere in my post did I deny that Logan Lerman is a good actor. I love Logan Lerman. I think he is adorable, and I think he has a lot of talent. That was my point. That I was so fed up with the paper that even he couldn’t save it for me.

That being said, the Percy Jackson material I was using was not the movies, but the books, so your tirade about his acting ability and the fact that he didn’t write the screenplay is null and void. Also, no, I didn’t mean Greek mythology, I did mean Greek drama, because that was what the class was about – classical Greek drama and its effects on today’s theatre – so it’s hysterical to me that you were calling me ignorant and arrogant.

Actually, I’m not even sure where in my post I was being arrogant, but I digress.

Also, you say you officially hate my “whiny ass” blogs… does that mean you’ve been reading it? Or just that you happened to stumble upon it one night and decide from a singular post that you hate it?

Would love to hear from you!
